I’m delighted to have Steve Fenton on our show today. His estranged wife took their son to Mexico and Steve worked for 16 months to bring the boy back to the United States. U.S.News and World Report captioned his non-fiction account BROKEN TREATY a “James Bond Thriller”.

The treaty that Steve speaks of is The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, or Hague Abduction Convention. More details about Mexico’s compliance (and lack of compliance) with the treaty can be found at International Child Abduction in Mexico at wikipedia.
