Office for Victims of Crime

I am really proud that I was just accepted as a consultant for the Office for Victims of Crime, a program run by the US Department of Justice.

“The purpose of the OVC Consultant Network is to provide the victim services field, as well as allied professionals across our nation, access to speakers and experts who have the experience and/or expertise to support OVC’s full range of training and technical assistance resources and capacity-building initiatives, for the benefit of all victims of crime.”

This will be a great opportunity for me to carry forward our work and expand victim advocacy – I should also be receiving my National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) Credential any day. Sending out a huge Thank You to the FindMe team at http://findme2.com/ and the wonderful people at LostNMissing.com for their support in this process.
